Cambodian Outreach Project
Our ministry is about people, the people of Cambodia. Cambodia is populated with about 14 million people. Compared to that number, our ministry is small. Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” Though we minister to a small number among the millions, we pray that each person’s life will be changed immeasurably as they come to understand the boundless love of our Great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The year was 1998, and John had just returned to the U.S. after his first visit to Cambodia. Story after story spilled from his mouth as he attempted to describe his trip to his wife Linda. He described details of unimaginable poverty, the destruction of the country due to war, and the chaos that marked Cambodia’s entire infrastructure. Yet he seemed most overcome by the needs of the children. Linda had asked her question, and John’s answer was a simple, “No…we can’t bring them here. If you want to help them, you’ll have to go there.”

Playing It Forward
The Playing It Forward Youth Sports Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing youth athletics opportunties for local children in need. We offer necessary equipment as well as financial assistance for registration fees. In these difficult economic times we want to ensure that kids are still able to attain the benefits of being involved in positive extra-curricular activities.
